PRACTITIONER Training & DEVELOPMENT
The aim of Emotionally Focused counselling is the regulation, debriefing, exploring and experiencing of emotions for the development of emotional health, thinking and understanding. The heart of the Emotionally Focused approach involves working with emotion at both a verbal and creative level.
The aim of Emotionally Focused therapy is to work at depth with clients. The focus of the work begins with dealing current problems, and past adult matters before moving to the healing of childhood traumas. Practitioners work with emotional experience, understand emotional signatures, and transform core underlying emotional patterns.
