TAPPING MEETS THE ANNANDALE APPROACH

Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique is a very effective tool in grounding and emotion regulation. The Tapping technique involves using two fingers to tap on selected points of the face and upper body to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. Used in combination with the techniques of Focusing, it can assist a client to both have their emotional experience and move through emotion to a more settled place. The research base behind tapping has been growing since the 1970’s as practitioners have been using it in increased numbers.

This workshop will teach the method of Tapping and look at how to interweave Emotion-Focused principles with Tapping in-session. Importantly, we will explore using this technique whilst maintaining a relational stance and holding the pace of the client’s journey.

Juliette has been trained in, and worked the Emotional Freedom techniques. Together with Michelle, we invite you to join us to explore this practice within the framework of the Annandale approach.
